How to get listed on miIrish.com

For over 23 years now, miIrish.com has prided itself on bringing "All Things Irish and Celtic in Michigan, That we Know About" to our followers on this site and our Social Media Platforms. Our editors search for "content" almost every day to bring you the most comprehensive list of upcoming events that might interest you. 

If you have ever wondered why your favorite event or show wasn't listed, it's simply because we were not aware it was happening or we found out too late to list it on our pages. 

Irish, Scottish or Celtic Shows, Fundraisers, Cultural or Heritage Programs, Announcements, Radio Shows, Historical Information, Holiday Announcements are all examples of content we post FOR FREE on our sites. (With some restrictions).

The best way to get your event listed on our Facebook Page Events Tab is to list miIrish.com as a "Co-Host" when you creat your event. Facebook notifies us of your request to co-host and with one click, your event is shared to our events tab and a post about it appears in our feed as well! By adding us as a co-host, we automatically learn about your events instead of having to hunt for them. 

Some events deserve more attention. Larger shows, fundraisers and special events often appear on our website calendar. We include regularly occurring events, such as Music Sessions, Radio Shows and Fundraisers. But, if we don't know about them, we can't add them to that calendar.

If you want your event listed on our Website Calendar of Events, we strongly recommend you send us all of the information, including what's happening, where it is happening, beginning and ending times, contact person, email, phone number and any artwork you might like used to miIrish.com@gmail.com at least TWO WEEKS in advance.

One of our most popular pages used to be our listing of Michigan Based Music Acts listings. We stopped posting it when we used to try and represent these acts and serve as their booking agent. (Which we did as a favor for many acts.) We are no longer interested in the actual representation for any acts.

We are in the process of rebuilding a new Music Acts Page that will feature performers based in Michigan, as well as acts from outside our state that play in Michigan on a regular basis.

Any act with an online presence will be added to the list FOR FREE, although we will also offer "Enhanced Postings and "Premium Postings" for a nominal annual fee. (Coming Soon!)

We are once again building a list of great Irish Pubs and Restaurants located in Michigan. We took down our previous list due to the many outdated listings that were on it. 

If you are a the owner or General Manager of an Irish Themed Bar or Restaurant, we hope you would want to have it listed on our page. 

We will  add a free posting with just your name with a link to your website as we discover them, but if you want to insure we have "all the information" you would like, please email us for complete information on how to turn your free post into either an "Enhanced" or "Premium" listing for a nominal annual fee.
